Daniel Knoblauch is a PhD Candidate in Prof. Kuester's GRAVITY group at UC San Diego. He received his Master in Computer Science in 2006 from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (Switzerland) as member of the Computer Graphics Laboratory led by Prof. M. Gross.
Since summer 2008 Daniel is collaborating with Mark Duchaineau at Laurence Livermore National Laboratories (LLNL) on 3D reconstruction from aerial images.
Research Interest
Daniel Knoblauch is focusing his research on Video-Based 3D Reconstruction for Tele-Immersion and aerial imagery applications. His main focus is on error analysis and combination of reconstructions from different viewing angles.
